We did not know much about Floricienta until our five year old son came from a friends’ house asking for Floricienta’s CD. As weeks went by we bought the desired CD’s and the DVD’s as the house turned into a “Floricienta Fan Club” listening to the music every single afternoon and watching the film several times per week… Finally, May 19th was “the day” Floricienta was coming to Lima to present her show… How did he find out that SHE was coming, he asked, begged and supplicate to see the show. So that day we headed to the Jockey Club, where the traffic jam was heavy, was everyone going to see Floricienta?


Yes, the children’s star was here: Floricienta, the Argentinean singer and actress does not charm only girls, she also charms boys and parents. As it is written in one of the 70 pages in Google about Floricienta, “Any boy would dream about having a nanny like Floricienta.”

The entrance to the show was well organized and we went directly to our seats as the show began. From the beginning to the end the show was good entertainment, the laser lights and the special effects gave the whole show this ambience of “fantasy and fairy tale” were Floricienta comes from. The small faces of the kids cheered up with each song, everyone knew the lyrics and sang along. But which is the strength of Floricienta? Is it the story behind her in the TV program of Floricienta or is it the image of a nice and good girl who dreams about her prince and waits for him? Is it this very girly impression, very sweet, a little bit naive and stylish? All these elements are in the show, which create a spectacle with good atmosphere, fantasy and happiness. The music flows, delighting the audience and it is wonderful to see the small bodies dancing and singing together with their favorite “star”.

The actors and actresses look very young and professional; they are charming and full of energy. This show is particularly cheerful and inspiring because there is a lot of a “good energy”, life and happiness in it which flows from the stage to the public. Without a doubt the show would have been cosier and less chilly, had it been presented at an indoor venue.

The show has style, good music and is fun, everything is in harmony: the stage, the music, the acting and the costumes. There are “stars” for everyone. When the prince came out, all girls sighed in chorus while they sang together with “Flori”. The actors and dancers are transmitting a feeling of happiness when they were on stage and the nostalgic moments enchanted the children.


It is important to mention the “innocent” and happy attitude of Floricienta because she is a role model for our children, especially girls who like to dress like her and be like her. She is not the “anorexic blond supermodel”, she is a happy girl who enjoys life, has charisma, is spontaneous and has a lot of wishes and dreams. In contrast with other shows for children where the dancers behave and dress like cabaret dancers, this show has style and is suitable for children.

What is it exactly that charms children and make them love this actress and singer known all across Latin America? You can find out in the many pages written about her and her band after gaining attention and success from Mexico to Argentina, in Hungary and the Philippines. The concept has been developed in India and Israel as well…

The Argentinean actress and singer Florencia Bertotti known as Floricienta was born on May 15th in 1983 in Palermo, Argentina. Her parents divorced when she was 7, at the age of 12 she presented a strawberry jam advertisement and her career started there. She participated in several contests and acted in many shows and theaters. With two Platinum CD’s hanging on her wall, she IS the children’s ultimate star. Two of her songs entered the Argentinean Top 10 last year where she was the frontrunner ahead of international star Shakira and other super artists.

We saw the show last July in Buenos Aires where we went with my son, his wife and our 2 granddaughters. Prior to the trip, I had not heard anything either about her. I thought it was a veru good production, with interesting effects, catchy songs and great scenes. Very enjoyable!

Hello!!Hola!!Yo soy Donjeta soy de Kosova veia todos los dias a Floricienta en television pero ahora se acabo..
Esque me gusta mucho Floricienta y todos sus personajes...
Yo aprendi de Rebelde Way y Flrocientea..espaniol y si que creo que son muy buenos.
