Peru's tourism commission (PromPerú) and Air France will sign an agreement Thursday to mark the return of the French airline to Peru.
The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros, and the general director and regional representative for the Andean countries and Central America of KLM-Air France, Domingo De Cola, will attend.
The ceremony will take place at 11:30 am at the Country Club Hotel in Lima.
In January the company announced it's intention to offer service connecting Paris and Lima, which will operate with a B777-200 aircraft. KLM already serves Lima with daily non-stops from Amsterdam. The company says the decision is based on the growing importance of Peru as a tourist destination in Europe.
