We went to the Punto Azul on San Martín 595, Miraflores (fono: 445-8078) We had the Soup de pesca and the mussels. The portions were large and delicious. We spent S/.24. Too bad it's not open for dinner.

Every time I come to Lima I enjoy the excellent ceviche and tiradito along with the Tacu tacu served here.

Really friendly service and reasonable prices (about 30 soles for 2 mixed ceviches with soft drinks and desserts from the plate they walk around with). We were ceviche virgins and our first try was not disappointing. Fresh fish, deliciously seasoned with chilis and lime.
Another time, I went with colleagues for a birthday and we all ordered a different dish which we shared and I highly recommend the bicolor raw fish dish (don't know the name) and the chicharron de pescado with its excellent mayonnaise.
Excellent place. Gets full quickly between 1 and 2pm on sunny days.

This restaurant is always packed, so try to time your visit before 1 p.m. when it starts filling up.
Good ceviche and seafood -- not very good, not great -- served in enormous portions, at reasonable prices. The food quality is consistent (I've eaten here six times), which may be why locals rely on it for their daily business lunches. I've also seen soap opera stars and Peruvian politicians eating here.
Punto Azul's kitchen earned the APEC seal for sanitation, so out-of-towners can rest assured that they won't compromise their digestive system eating ceviche here.
I'll be back again to Punto Azul.
