Cabo Blanco

Well known for fishing. The writer Ernest Hemingway used to go to this beach and tried to fish the Black Merlin. According to the villagers, this beach inspired his novel "The old man and the sea". Cabo Blanco is also visited by surfers for its great waves. The Panic Point is catalogued as "only for experts".

Cerro Azul

At this beach it is easy to find hotels and restaurants. There is a hill on whose slopes there are pre-Hispanic constructions, according to historician Cieza de Leon. The hills must have been green and blue seen from the sea; that is why it is called "Cerro Azul". It is nice to visit.

Huanchaco

It has been cradle of the traditional "caballitos de totora": little canoes made 2000 years ago in Peru for sea fishing. On this beach you can see how this ancient tradition remains alive.
