For Peruvians, there's a lot to celebrate and be proud of this July 28th. Here, we place the spotlight on one of Peru's most colorful poster makers. Born Elliot Urcuhuaranga Cárdenas, he's now known as Elliot Tupac: chicha poster master. He was born in Lima though his parents are from Huancayo and artisans, so Elliot's artistic talent should come as no surprise.

Introducing Ale: blogger and newest member of The Break!
Ale just finished her studies in advertising & marketing and she's currently working in digital marketing. She’s a fashion junkie and her personal blog alegallegos.com is a mix of all things she likes: clothes, beauty, shopping, travel and photography.
She’s our first contributing blogger here at The Break and there's nothing better than a Q&A session to get to know Ale better:
Two of the greatest action stars, galaxies apart, face off: Magnum, Hawaii's very own private investigator of the 80s vs. Hans Solo, the reluctant hero and captain of the Millenium Falcon (a spacecraft for the non-Star Wars fans out there)... Tom Selleck and Harrison Ford never looked so good.
Before departing Oregon, U.S., I contemplated becoming a vegan with hopes of carrying such a lifestyle with me throughout my six-month stay in Lima. Truth is, like an additional carry-on bag, restricting your diet, especially so drastically, can be burdensome when placing oneself in a completely new culture. It was not veganism in particular that I was drawn to; it was establishing something in the U.S. that I could hold onto in the new land.
