Photo Essay: Red Bull F1 Event

Here are some images from the Red Bull F1 event on the Avenida Marina featuring Scotsman David Coulthard.  Several thousand people watched at he raced by at almost 300 km per hour and did his now famous spins (trompos).  The event was a wonderful afternoon's entertainment with excellent organization by the San Miguel Municipality and Police.

About the photographer:
 
Bruce Clark was born in Dundee, Scotland but he has lived in South America for the last 27 years.  He started photography back in the 60's using B&W film and processing his own pictures in a make-shift darkroom in the attic of his house.  Now he enjoys working with digital cameras (and no darkroom or chemicals).  Bruce views photography as a relaxing hobby and he hopes is images will please viewers as much as it pleases him to produce them.  He can be reached at: bruce.clark@odfjellterminals.com.pe

I suspect that you tried to say "trompos" or " giros" instead of "trompas". Good luck,
